QCHP – Qatar

GCC DataFlow & Exam Registration

QCHP Overview

The Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP), under the Ministry of Public Health in Qatar, regulates the licensure of healthcare professionals to ensure quality healthcare services. Professionals intending to work in Qatar must complete a licensing process that involves:

  • Primary Source Verification (PSV)
  • Credentialing
  • QCHP Exam

A QCHP license allows healthcare professionals to practice in public and private healthcare institutions across Qatar.

Steps Involved in QCHP DataFlow and Exam Registration

1. Primary Source Verification (PSV)

Primary Source Verification (PSV) ensures the authenticity of your submitted credentials. QCHP mandates this step, which is conducted by the DataFlow Group.

Details about PSV:

  • What is verified?
  1. Educational qualifications (degrees, diplomas).
  2. Professional licensure or council registration.
  3. Good Standing Certificates (GSC).
  4. Work experience certificates.
  • Duration: 45–60 working days.

Process:

  • Submit all required documents through the QCHP registration portal.
  • The DataFlow Group contacts issuing authorities to verify the submitted credentials.
  • Once verification is complete, a PSV report is generated and shared with QCHP.

2. Credentialing

Following PSV, the Credentialing process assesses the candidate's eligibility to work in Qatar. This includes evaluating the educational background, work experience, and PSV report compliance with QCHP regulations.

Credentialing Overview:

  • Purpose: To ensure candidates meet QCHP standards for healthcare professionals.
  • Duration: 10–15 days after PSV completion.
  • Outcome: Approval to proceed with the licensing exam.
